Anyone who has ever driven around Atlanta knows that the area has so much to offer to residents and visitors alike! Whether you are searching for great parks, cultural attractions, awesome shopping or just cool and vibey places to hangout, Atlanta has it all… or it’s coming!
One of the great things that attracted us to the area was the vast amounts of greenspace where you can do just about anything! We are avid hikers so we found several that we love, we haven’t scratched the surface of the half of them… we will always love Amicalola Falls.
There are so many beautiful parks and greenspaces in and around Atlanta; another great one is Tallulah Gorge
One of the most spectacular canyons in the eastern U.S., Tallulah Gorge is two miles long and nearly 1,000 feet deep. Visitors can hike rim trails to several overlooks, or they can obtain a permit to hike to the gorge floor (100 per day, not available during water releases). A suspension bridge sways 80 feet above the rocky bottom, providing spectacular views of the river and waterfalls. The park boasts a 10 mile hike and a myriad of flora and fauna
